I know Camile through our mutual membership in Capitol Hill Arts League and appreciate her work expressing her deep love of nature in a textured semiabstract style. The Visions of Resilience: Art for Climate Justice exhibit explores the emotionally resonant power of art to inspire and raise awareness about climate change and its impact on marginalized communities. Art holds the power to portray what words so often miss. This exhibit conveys environmental issues through the universal languages of image and feeling with the goal of encouraging action towards a just, climate-friendly future.  The event has now past, but you can view the excellent webinar online.

This exhibit is being held in partnership with the Changing Planet Justice Foundation, which empowers youth to lead climate action in their communities. CPJ provides a platform for youth of all backgrounds to share climate justice-related art, writing, and photography with their peers internationally. During the exhibit, visitors may make donations to CPJ to help further youth-led climate action.
