10th Annual #PaintGreatFalls Plein Air Competition
Artists will paint "en plein air" (outside) without the assistance of photography in Great Falls, Virginia. The community is invited to watch artists paint throughout the event. Artists will be provided with a list of recommended painting locations, including several private gardens. This is a non-juried, open event, limited to 35 artists, and we encourage artists of all levels to participate.

Paint Great Falls Daily Painting
Observe artists painting on location. "Featured Locations" are assigned so observers may find a number of artists in one spot, but artists may be painting anywhere in Great Falls. All artists must stop painting by 2:00 pm Friday May 24 and artwork must be framed and turned in 4:00 pm.

Quick Paint Competition
Great Falls Village Centre Green
In this challenging event, artists will set up their easels and quickly create a painting on the Village Green courtyard at Great Falls Village Centre. Prizes will be awarded for 1st-3rd place at 6pm and light refreshments will be served afterward. The community is invited to wander throughout the Village Green to watch artists create. All artwork is available for sale.

Awards, Art Show and Sale
Judge Bethanne Kinsella Cople, will award prizes to the top five paintings: 1st-3rd Place and 2 Honorable Mention Awards. Refreshments will be served and all art work is available for sale.
