Solo Exhibition: "The Social Vibe"

The Social Vibe is a mix of place, mood, and people in conversation, enjoying each other; an air of receptive friendliness and warmth that rejuvenates and renews.

This exhibition explores and celebrates the places, faces, warmth, and festive feeling of The Social Vibe though a series of expressive and gestural oil paintings, painted live (“on-scene”), alla prima (“all at once”) and often plein air (“outdoors”) at various gathering places in and around Washington, DC. The immediacy and presence of the artist’s approach translates to works rich with gesture, movement, and color harmony, all which evoke the magic, warmth. and uplifting feelings of interpersonal connection.
